Silver Tone Faux Turquoise Hinged Bangle

A wide Southwestern style hinged bangle in silver colored base metal set with three large oval cabochons in even robin egg blue. The center station is a big oval disc with a stamped sunburst and beaded border. The two outer stations are ringed with small round blue beads in the petit point look. Read the photos carefully. The bracelet is hinged with a snap tension clasp rather than a solid open cuff, the back is unmarked with no sterling or 925 stamp anywhere, and the plating has worn through to a copper colored base metal along the edges of one station. The stones are very uniform in color with no natural matrix and appear to be simulated turquoise rather than natural stone. There is a scratch across the face of one large cabochon and several of the small blue accent beads on one cluster are missing with old adhesive showing in their place. Honest condition is fair. Cataloged as costume jewelry, not Native American silver. Stones are untested and described from visual observation only. Estimated Value: $15 to $30 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is.
