Three pieces, a brooch and a pair of earrings, not a matched set. The brooch is a large silver colored butterfly in the multi stone channel inlay style of Zuni silversmiths. Wings hold fitted panels of blue turquoise, red coral colored stone, black jet colored stone, and pale mother of pearl set flush between thin silver dividers, with a large mother of pearl body and wire antennae curled into loops. The back is hand signed in script Sara Edaakie, with a pin stem, safety catch, and a loop so it can hang as a pendant. The earrings are a smaller pair of butterflies on french wire hooks inlaid with white and pale green mother of pearl. The back of each is stamped 925 SX THAI, meaning sterling made in Thailand, not Native American made. Brooch is very good with bright stone and no chips or missing inlay. Earrings show light tarnish and small speckles on the shell. Stones are untested and described from visual observation only. Authenticity has not been verified by Crawford Auction Service. Estimated Value: $150 to $250 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot. Written descriptions are a guide only and may contain errors.
