Antique oak unique purpose roll top shelf unit. Likely from the period 1900 to 1920. Contains 22 shelves, shelves are currently divided into three sections by metal slide in dividers to create storage areas 13.5”, 11.5” and 13.5” wide for a total of 66 storage slots. Shelf dept is 7.75”. This may have been used in law offices, libraries or government buildings to sort, store and organize printed legal documents, flat forms and law blanks. The unit has a pull down cover, like a roll top desk to secure or hide all contents. Items can also be displayed on the top of the unit. In overall very good condition with some age and use wear. Unique item will make a great display piece that can be repurposed to meet your desires. Measures 49.5” tall, 4.35” wide and 13” deep. **Please Note: This is a very heavy item.
