Vintage HEMI neon sign. In 1951 Chrysler Corporation introduced the Hemi (hemispherical head) engine on their Chrysler brand cars, and expensive but very efficient design. The engine was later added to DeSoto, Dodge and Plymouth. The Hemi went away but came back strong in the 1960s with the 426 Hemi. The Hemi returned again in more recent years with outstanding performance. This is a great sign for the Hemi and or Chrysler Corporation / Mopar fan. The sign is orange and black with the ‘HEMI’ in orange neon. Sign was plugged in and works as designed, can also use the on/off pull chain. In very good condition.
