Awesome selection of a SG Standard Guitar, produced by Gibson. Set in a stylish classic Heritage Cherry, this guitar is noted for its raw, mid-range punch, biting treble, and immediate note attack. The origin of the model dates back to 1961, where it was designed to be a sleeker and faster replacement for the heavy Les Paul. It’s distinct physical build directly dictates its aggressive tone and intended musical purpose. While the SG is a notable versatile instrument capable of playing in a variety of genres, it is essentially “Classic and Hard Rock Royalty”, built to push amplifiers into overdrive. Once again, this guitar is encapsulates the definitive sound of classic rock, being the guitar of choice for infamous bands such as AC/DC, The Doors and Black Sabbath.
