An ornate pair of sterling silver serving spoons, including one retailed by J.E. Caldwell & Co. and a figural putto and griffin example by Roger Williams. The pieces feature intricate openwork and one is monogrammed. Both spoons exhibit Rococo Revival and Art Nouveau stylistic influences throughout their handles and bowls. Lengths are 4.25 and 5 inches with a total weight of 1.845 OZT. The spoons are in excellent condition with light tarnish consistent with age (photos 1-4). The elaborate piercing remains intact and sharp with no visible breaks or repairs to the delicate openwork (photos 10-12).
