This lot features two solid sterling silver serving pieces in classic American patterns. The first is a Vintage grape motif server marked R.W.S. Co. for retailer J.E. Caldwell & Co. The second is a Strasbourg pattern server bearing thelion, anchor, and gothic G marks. Both items are marked sterling and show fine craftsmanship from the turn of the century. 5.5 inches and 5 inches long. Total weight: 1.670 OZT. Both pieces show minor surface scratches and light tarnish as expected with age and use. The intricate piercing and ornate relief patterns remain crisp and intact.
