This ornate German .800 silver spoon features a deeply concave bowl with elaborate pierced openwork. The central motif depicts a heraldic bird surrounded by roses and scrolling foliage, joined by a twisted stem to a floral cast terminal. The reverse is impressed with 800 alongside the German crescent moon and crown hallmark, while an adjacent rectangular maker mark remains illegible. 5.25 inches 1.070 OZT. Good antique condition with surface wear and light scratches consistent with age. There is moderate tarnish in the recessed decorative areas and some cleaning abrasions on the reverse near the hallmarks.
