This Gorham sterling silver California souvenir server features an Art Nouveau terminal depicting a woman with a fruit basket. The handle is embossed with the word CALIFORNIA and trailing vines, leading to a heart-shaped bowl with intricate pierced scrolling foliage. The neck is stamped STERLING and PAT D with Gorham marks including a lion, anchor, and gothic G. The server measures 5.25 inches long and weighs 1.095 OZT. The server is in excellent antique condition with no breaks to the delicate pierced bowl (photo 3). Expected light golden tarnish is present in the recessed areas, highlighting the detail (photo 1). Minor surface scratches are consistent with age.
