A large sterling silver serving spoon featuring a decorative Rococo handle with cast floral and C-scroll motifs. The heart-shaped bowl is finished with intricate foliate and scrollwork ajoure piercings. The reverse of the handle is stamped STERLING alongside a pictorial mark depicting a rampant animal. This spoon measures 8.25 inches in length and weighs 3.010 OZT. The spoon is in good antique condition with light surface scratches from use. There is expected tarnish throughout the ornate recesses of the handle and pierced bowl. All openwork remains intact without breaks or repairs.
