This sterling silver gilded bon bon spoon was retailed by Bailey, Banks & Biddle and bears pattern number 3116. The Rococo Revival design showcases an intricate pierced bowl decorated with fleur-de-lis and foliate motifs. The reverse isstamped BAILEY BANKS & BIDDLE, STERLING. This piece measures 5.5 inches in length and weighs 1.855 ozt.The spoon is in very good vintage condition with expected tarnish in the recessed areas (photos 1 and 7). Minor surface micro-scratching is visible upon close inspection, consistent with age and light use (photo 2).
