This rectangular wooden wall plaque measures 8 inches by 5 1/2 inches with a 2 inch depth. Mounted on a dark stained, bevel-edged oak backing board is a silver-finished metal 3D relief composition depicting crossed rifles behind a detailed soldier'spack (Tornister) with a rolled greatcoat and attached mess kit (Kochgeschirr). The reverse shows a flat black-finished backing with three countersunk threaded hex nuts securing the metal components and a triangular brass hanging bracket at the top edge. The silver-plated metal piece exhibits surface tarnishing, patina, and light finish wear, while the wooden base remains sturdy with minor corner rubbing.
