This commemorative plaque from 1933 marks the exhibition of the Holy Robe in Trier, Germany. At its center is a 1.5-inch medallion crafted from an early synthetic resin with a silver-toned finish, mounted on a diamond-oriented wooden base measuring 2.25 by 2.25 inches. The relief design features the façade of Trier Cathedral beneath a depiction of the seamless robe of Christ, referencing the biblical passage John 19:23. The German inscription encircles the medallion, underscoring its religious significance. The silver finish displays wear on raised areas, in line with use and age. The construction remains solid, with the synthetic medallion firmly attached and free of cracks. A well-preserved piece of 1930s German religious history and Catholic pilgrimage memorabilia, offering strong display appeal. PM/SW
