Red clothbound edition of "Großdeutschland," edited by Hans Lerch and published by Zwinger-Verlag Rudolf Glöß, Dresden, in 1940. The defining feature is a handwritten note on the front endpaper that reads: "Weihnachten 1940 von seinem Vater RudolfHerold" ("Christmas 1940 from his father, Rudolf Herold"). The cover shows edge wear and notable loss at the corners, along with visible spine wear at the bottom. The interior exhibits foxing, particularly to the endpapers. All pages are present, with two at the front loose but included. The publication contains period text and photographs relating to World War II and political figures of the era. It measures 11 x 8.5 inches. Book is in good, visibly used condition. GE/SW
