This Model 1933 Sturmabteilung (SA) service dagger was manufactured by Gebrüder Heller in Schmalkalden, Germany during the WWII era. The double-edged steel blade is etched with the motto "Alles für Deutschland" and marked with the circular maker mark "GEBRÜDER HELLER / SCHMALKALDEN" and anchor logo on the ricasso. The contoured reddish wood grip is inset with the SA roundel and national eagle, and features nickel-silver crossguards with a top pommel nut. The dagger is complete with its original brown-finished metal scabbard and intact leather suspension hanger with nickel clip. Total length in scabbard is 13.3 inches, with an 8.6-inch blade and a weight of 262 grams. The dagger shows age-consistent wear with surface marks, light oxidation, minor cracking on the upper grip, and an aged patina on nickel fittings. The leather hanger displays surface creasing and wear but remains functional.
