Produced during World War II by Navigation-Instrumente G.m.b.H. in Berlin, Germany, this Rbl.F. 32 (Rundblickfernrohr 32) artillery panoramic periscopic sight displays upper circular optic housing stampings reading "Rbl.F. 32", manufacturer logo "NAVIGATION BERLIN", serial number "Nr. 21123", "M", and mil-scale designation "H/6400". Secondary assembly component numbers (including "123") are stamped on internal fitting rings. The panoramic sight measures 9 inches high by 5 inches wide by 3.25 inches deep (22.9 cm H x 12.7 cm W x 8.3 cm D) and weighs 2,373 grams (5 lbs 3.7 oz). Constructed with heavy steel and brass housing elements, precision micrometer adjustment drums, and a red-painted collar section, the unit maintains full mechanical function across all adjustment dials and levers. Optical glass is clear, with the internal reticle grid and crosshairs clearly visible. The lower side-mounted spirit level housing is intact, though the internal bubble level fluid is no longer present. All metal patinas, silvered scale bands, and red collar finishes remain factory original with no repainting, displaying age-appropriate surface wear, minor oxidation, and edge rubbing.
