Presenting an early 20th-century Carl Zeiss Jena 6x30 "Marineglas" binocular set, serial number 804363. This optical instrument reflects the renowned engineering associated with Zeiss, built for marine observation and demanding field conditions. Measuring 10.8 cm H x 16.5 cm W (4.25" H x 6.5" W), and weighing 660 g (1 lb 7.3 oz), the binoculars feature the original black finish with visible brassing consistent with authentic use. The clear, defect-free optical glass and precise mechanical focusing remain intact. The original Zeiss-stamped brown leather case, measuring 13.3 cm H x 17.8 cm W (5.25" H x 7.0" W), displays a preserved honey patina with significant organic mottling, tight stitching, and a functioning clasp. The interior export stamp marks it as "Made in Germany." Both components represent collector-grade preservation and stand as a testament to Zeiss's historical reputation for precision optics. PM/OT
