This cast iron wall plaque depicts Prince Otto von Bismarck in high relief, presenting his profile in later years. The plaque measures 11 inches by 10 inches and is constructed using traditional 19th-century sand-casting techniques. The reverse is hollow, consistent with period ironwork, and retains its original integrated iron hanging ring for wall mounting. The surface exhibits a natural aged patina, and there is minor oxidation visible primarily on the reverse and in the recessed areas. Structural integrity remains excellent throughout, with no apparent cracks or repairs. This plaque serves as a historical example of German commemorative ironwork honoring the first Chancellor of the German Empire.
