Highlighting German optical craftsmanship across different eras, this collection of three vintage optic cases includes a large brown leather case, a small Carl Zeiss brown leather case, and a small black composite case. The large brown leather case measures 9.5 inches high by 8 inches wide by 2.75 inches deep (24.1 cm H x 20.3 cm W x 7.0 cm D) and features a blue velvet-lined interior alongside a "Made in Germany" stamp near the inner rim. The small brown leather case measures 6 inches high by 8inches wide by 3.25 inches deep (15.2 cm H x 20.3 cm W x 8.3 cm D) and features an embossed Carl Zeiss logo on the lower front with a brass flip-latch closure. The small black composite case measures 5.75 inches high by 7 inches wide by 2.75 inches deep (14.6 cm H x 17.8 cm L x 7.0 cm D) and displays a stamped circular emblem on its metal spring-latch closure. Constructed from molded leather, velvet, metal hardware, and composite materials, the cases exhibit varied functional condition. The small black case shows light surface wear with a fully functional latch mechanism. The small brown Zeiss case retains a working brass latch, though its integrated leather shoulder strap is broken. The large brown case includes its leather shoulder strap and secure stud-latch hardware. All pieces remain in original, unrestored condition with age-appropriate scuffing, edge wear, and natural patina.
