This Tarahumara earthenware vessel is hand-coiled with a globular body and flared neck, measuring 12 inches tall and approximately 12 inches wide. The dark brown surface features prominent fire clouds resulting from traditional firingtechniques. It is encased in a functional rawhide harness consisting of a neck collar and base pad joined by eight vertical thongs. No maker marks or signatures are present. 12 inches tall, 12 inches wide. The ceramic body shows surface abrasions, minor pitting, and small chips along the rim. The rawhide harness is structurally intact but appears dry and stiff with minor fraying and edge degradation consistent with age.
