This large compressed globular earthenware bowl features hand-painted polychrome decoration in the Southwest Pueblo tradition. The exterior is divided into panels showcasing geometric motifs, including fine-line hatching, black-and-whitecheckerboard grids, and stepped forms in russet and black slips. The base features an incised stylized monogram resembling the characters S G above the date 1985 and a small yellow adhesive square. 6 inches tall, 13 inches wide.The vessel is in excellent vintage condition with no visible chips, cracks, or professional repairs. The base exhibits minor surface scuffing and shelf dust consistent with age. A small patch of adhesive residue is present on the underside.
