4 Piece Pablo Picasso Lithographs, a lively and highly decorative set from the celebrated "Toros y Toreros" series, featuring energetic and abstracted views of the bullring. These compositions capture the spectacle of the corrida through bold color, rhythmic line, and simplified form, hallmarks of Picasso’s late graphic style. Rendered in vibrant crayon-like strokes, the works depict arena scenes filled with motion and atmosphere, where the crowd, architecture, and action dissolve into expressive bands of color and gesture. The immediacy of line and playful abstraction reflect Picasso's fascination with the pageantry and symbolism of bullfighting. Each lithograph bears Picasso signature in crayon along with dated inscriptions (1957), corresponding to imagery later incorporated into the 1961 "Toros y Toreros" publication created in collaboration with matador Luis Miguel Dominguín. Artist: Pablo Picasso Series: "Toros y Toreros" Date of Original Works: 1957 (published 1961) Medium: Offset lithograph / reproduction Signature: Signed in crayon Quantity: 4 prints Sheet Size: Approx. 15 x 11 inches each Good vintage condition with light toning, minor edge wear, and handling marks consistent with age. A wonderful opportunity to own engaging imagery from one of Picasso's most iconic thematic series at an accessible price point.
