Vintage Floral Applique Hand Quilted Quilt

This auction lot features an authentic vintage hand-quilted applique textile quilt displaying an elegant repeating floral and vine pattern. The design showcases rows of hand-cut four-petal pink flowers with yellow centers and green leaf framing accents arranged in a clean diamond grid layout across a natural off-white cream muslin base. A continuous green vine with matching leaf appliques weaves along the outer perimeter border to frame the entire composition beautifully. The textile reveals exceptionally tight and elaborate hand-quilted relief detailing throughout the background fields, including a diagonal hanging diamond pattern in the center and detailed leaf or cable motifs accenting the borders. The reverse side features a solid cream backing fabric that highlights the textured stitch work. This primitive piece shows an authentic aged character with minor natural fabric creasing, a faint yellowish storage stain on the field near one lower flower, and a few tiny superficial spots along the bottom border edge as shown in the close-up photographs.
