This lot comprises four original German professional certification booklets from the 1930s, reflecting distinct trades and associations. The most notable is the Deutsche Stenografenschaft (German Stenographic Society) membership book, which includesa photograph, personal data, and numerous official stenography certifications and awards. Additional booklets include a plumber's apprenticeship certificate with detailed exam results for Rudolf Pilz, a master cobbler certification from the Handwerkskammer Altona that contains a period portrait affixed to the document, and a machinist/locksmith’s examination and apprenticeship certificate. These items provide insight into vocational qualification practices in pre-war Germany. All documents display visible signs of authentic period use and handling.
