Dating to 1934, this original German softcover cigarette card album is titled Männer und Ereignisse unserer Zeit: I. Folge (Men and Events of Our Time: Episode 1). Bound in heavy brown paper card wrappers featuring gold embossed lettering on the front cover, the landscape volume presents a collectible propaganda photographic chronicle of political leaders, state officials, and historical events surrounding the transition of power in early 1933. The interior features printed German captions printed alongside tipped-in monochrome real photo card plates illustrating prominent figures—including Paul von Hindenburg, Adolf Hitler, Franz von Papen, Wilhelm Frick, Roland Freisler, Fritz Thyssen, and Gustav Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach—as wellas state ceremonies, Stahlhelm conventions, and early Reichsautobahn groundbreaking projects. The volume measures 9.5 x 13.5 inches. Condition is consistent with age and light handling. The softcover paper covers display minor edge wear, faint surface scuffing, and light corner bumping. Interior pages remain clean, securely bound, and complete with all photo plates present and minor marginal paper toning.
