Vtg. German Cigarette Packages & Boxes Collection

Assembled here is a vintage group of German tobacciana items, including cardboard packs, tins, and presentation boxes dating from the early to mid-20th century. Featured brands include Elida (10 Stück cigar/cigarette box with partial tax stamp), Sultan Auslese Nr. 8, Eckstein-Halpaus, Khedive, Lloyd, Ova, and Kleine Zuban. Construction consists of printed paperboard, paper labels, foil, and tin containers, featuring graphic Art Deco and early period typography. One box retains five original wrapped cigarettes inside a inner paper sleeve. Normal age-appropriate wear is present throughout the collection, including edge wear, surface scuffing, creasing, corner splits, and minor toning. Tax stamps and paper seals show varying degrees of flaking or tears, with original cigarettes exhibiting wrapper fragility. Box dimensions vary 2.2 to 5.5 inches long. This diverse assortment of early German tobacco packaging provides excellent graphic appeal for tobacciana collectors and period prop displays.
