An original WWII-era Danish photo booklet titled "København i Billeder" (Copenhagen in pictures / Kopenhagen in Bildern), published in Copenhagen by Grønlunds Forlag (2nd printing / 2. Oplag). Measuring 11 by 8 inches, this softcover souvenir albumcontains full-page sepia-toned photogravure plates illustrating prominent Copenhagen landmarks, urban architecture, and scenes of daily life. Captured views include Raadhuspladsen (Town Hall Square), Rosenborg Slot, Børsen, Amalienborg, Frederiksborg Slot, and Kongens Nytorv, complete with trilingual captions in Danish, English, and German. Cover photo collages are credited to photographers Guldbrandsen, Sv. Türck, and others. Produced during the German occupation of Denmark (1940–1945), such souvenir books were widely purchased by occupying military personnel and tourists alike. Physical condition is good overall, showing mild edge wear, minor cover corner rubbing, faint paper toning, and light foxing spots near the page margins.
