Constructed of a cream-colored leather shell, this German World War II cold-weather aviator cap features a plush dark shearling fleece lining, foldable ear flaps, and an integrated visor brim. Side grommet ports accommodate aviation headset equipment, while metal snaps secure the flaps. A faint silhouette outline on the front marks where the original Luftwaffe national emblem was removed following the war. Condition displays heavy age and operational wear, including widespread surface soiling, scuffing, oxidation on metal hardware, and a tear along the back crown seam. The helmet measures 10 inches high by 6 inches wide by 9 inches deep.
