ca. mid-19th century; Punch initialed "J.B." tin and brass dough scraper, attributed to John F. Burkhart (1823 -1910), Bernville, Berks Co., PA. This hoe-type dough scraper has a brass blade and solder mounted bead-rolled tapered tubular tin handle; 3 1/4' x 4" x 2 1/2"H.; Condition: Blade is extensively bent from use and cap of tubular handle has been punched inward.
