ca. late 19th-early 20th century; Attributed to PA Amish community, straw (or sawdust) stuffed elephants, each handcrafted from salvaged white cotton sheet, black yarn stitched eyes, attached braided fabric tails and comically shaped with oversized rounded head, elongated trunk and short legs; each 9 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 7 3/8"; Condition: each has extensive soiling and minor water damage from use.
