ca. mid 20th century; Unknown origin, folk art chip carved "wall hanger" bird on stem. The bird appears to be a gray polychrome painted dove on stem mounted into a live-edge wall mount with elongated tail feathers, tipped wings and push-pins eyes. The dove's body is light gray painted with wings painted in darker tone gray with brush-stroke accents; 4" x 4 1/2" x 10 1/2'; Condition: appears to be Continental; Bird has a compression chip to beak, some paint wear and soiling
