Framed watercolor painting by Kolene Spicher

ca. late 20th - contemporary; Signed, Kolene E. Spicher, Carlisle, Pa.watercolor enhanced picture on textured paper, entitled "Anchor's Away" and framed in a vintage walnut deep-well frame. The nautical themed picture has a large sperm whale near a shoreline with a yellow painted cottage. Much of the artist’s works were inspired by trips to Nantucket. The piece is professionally "fixed-framed" into a vintage era frame and is crafted to appear as an earlier piece of artwork with faux lines to appear as tears. The piece is labeled on back "Spicher & Co."; frame - 26 1/2" x 2 3/8" x 11 1/4"; Condition: Framed under glass (Note- unable to remove from frame to see if it is an authentic original watercolor or a watercolor enhanced processed image). The original price on back the back is marked $1050.00. Artist passed away in 2022. Good decorative value.
