ca. 1985; Signed, "Greg Shooner, Turtle Creek Potters, Museum Piece" wheel thrown plate with sgraffito decoration of running stag and flowers with German script band. The plate has reddish-yellow slip ground, incised decoration with flowing mottled green glaze and floral designs with black glaze accents. The plate is noted as being inspired by works of John Neis of Montgomery Co., Pa.; 10 1/8" dia. X 1 3/8"H.; Condition: The plate has extensive faux damage to rim and faux-aged finish. "As found"
