A Whiting & Davis evening bag with a soldered mesh body and an ornate embossed frame featuring floral motifs. The interior frame is stamped W&D, SOLDERED MESH, and GERMAN SILVER. The exterior top of the frame is engraved in cursive withthe name Alice Fingerle. It features a metal link chain handle and a double-ball kiss-lock clasp. Measures 5 x 5 inches.Overall dark patina and tarnish consistent with age. The soldered mesh is intact with no visible holes or loose links. The frame shows light surface wear and the kiss-lock clasp is functional and secure.
