A lithographed tin Vienna Art Plate featuring a romantic portrait signed E. Vernon. The front border is marked Copyrighted 1905, The Kemper-Thomas Co., Cincinnati, O. The reverse bears a blue stamp for Vienna Art Plates, Pat. Feb 21st1905, by The H.D. Beach Co., Coshocton, O. It is housed in an ornate gilded frame with handwritten reverse notations from 1924 and 1957. Frame measures 14.5 x 14.5 inches.The lithographed plate is well-preserved with vibrant colors. The plate reverse shows fine crazing and minor oxidation. The frame has prominent cracks in the gesso ornament, particularly at the corners and bezel, and shows signs of a previous repaint
