A framed nineteenth-century needlework band sampler worked in colored threads on a coarse linen ground. The piece features alphabet characters, floral borders, and folk motifs including a red table and chair set. A handwritten label on thereverse identifies the maker as Ida Kurth, dating the work to the 1860s. The sampler is presented in a modern oak-finished frame. Measures 9 x 29.5 inches.The textile exhibits significant fraying along all edges and natural age-toning to the linen ground. Embroidery threads show some fading but remain legible. The modern frame has minor surface scuffs, and the backing paper is brittle with visible tape
