Stepping into the early years of the Peace Dollar series, this 1923 Silver Peace Dollar showcases one of America's most recognizable silver coin designs. Struck in 90% silver, it contains .7734 troy ounces of pure silver, with Liberty featured prominently on the obverse and an eagle holding an olive branch on the reverse. The Peace Dollar was first introduced in 1921 to celebrate the return of peace following World War I. The 1923 issue was produced in large numbers and remains a popular and accessible date for collectors building a complete Peace Dollar collection.
