Very nice sampler done by "Anne Carroll" in 1812 with a heart next to the year with her name and year stitched prominently. Alphabet, numerals, birds, trees and a Federal period house in the middle. Very nice 19th century grain-painted frame. 17"H x 16 1/4"W Staining to sampler in top left. Edge wear to painted frame.
