A collection of kitchenware comprising a ceramic storage set and a manual coffee grinder. The ceramic pieces include a storage canister and a matching pair of salt and pepper shakers housed in a wire-mesh carrier with a woven rim. The ceramics are decorated with a moulded relief trellis pattern, accented with hand-painted blue floral and foliate motifs on a white ground. The canister is fitted with a chrome-finished metal bale-clamp lid and an internal seal, featuring a central blue starburst design to the lid surface. The manual coffee grinder is constructed with a square stained wooden base featuring a small pull-out drawer. The grinding mechanism is made of cast iron with dual bevel gears and a side-mounted crank with a turned wooden handle. The hopper is enclosed by a brass-toned metal dome with a sliding aperture. A brass identification plaque is mounted to the front of the wooden base, inscribed with a name in Gothic script, possibly reading Lurz. Canister height approx. 14 cm Grinder height approx. 23 cm. Condition: The ceramic items appear in overall good condition with no visible chips or cracks. The coffee grinder shows characteristic signs of age and use, including light oxidation to the cast iron components and surface wear, staining, and minor scratches to the wooden base.
