A single needlework piece depicting a veteran-style automobile in red and black, characteristic of early 20th-century motor car designs. The scene is set within a simplified rural landscape featuring stylized green trees and a sky of varied blue tones with large white clouds. The artwork is executed in a needlepoint technique using coloured threads on a canvas ground. It is presented in a rectangular wooden frame with a dark brown mottled outer moulding and a black-painted inner border. The reverse is finished with brown paper backing and includes a horizontal hanging wire. Condition: The needlework appears to be in good order with no visible areas of loss or significant fading to the threads. The wooden frame exhibits minor surface scuffs and small chips to the finish along the outer edges. The paper backing on the reverse is intact but shows light creasing and age-related wear.
