A Bulova quartz mantel clock, presented as a 25-year long-service award for General Motors Canada. The dark wood-finished case features a tiered top surmounted by a decorative brass-tone swing handle and is supported by four ornate bracket feet. The square glass-fronted dial is decorated with black scrolling foliate corner ornaments and features a silvered chapter ring with black Roman numerals and an outer track of five-minute markers. The centre of the dial contains a raised bronze-tone medallion depicting a vintage motor car positioned above a General Motors logo with a Canadian maple leaf emblem. The dial is set with black filigree hands and is signed Bulova at the bottom, with Made in U.S.A. printed below. A brass-tone plaque is mounted to the base, inscribed Louis Torok, 25 Years, 1998. The reverse features a removable slatted panel for access to the battery-operated movement. Dimensions: H approx. 34.3 cm, W approx. 27.3 cm (note: only inches shown on scale; measured against a ruler). Condition: The wooden case and glass front are in good condition, showing no visible chips or cracks. The exterior displays minor surface dust. The quartz movement has not been tested for working order.
