Oakley English Ceramic Floral Tray & Porcelain Bow

This lot includes an Oakley China fine bone china tray and a reticulated porcelain bowl. The tray features a long, narrow rectangular form with shallow depth and undulating edges, decorated with transfer-printed floral clusters of pink roses and tulips and a gilded rim. The base is marked with the Oakley China Ltd logo and MADE IN ENGLAND. The circular porcelain bowl has openwork reticulated sides and a braided gilded rim, with a blue lily motif at the centre of the well. The underside shows an incised number 22 and indistinct red markings. Dimensions (measured from visible scale): Tray: Length approx. 8.5 inches Bowl: Diameter approx. 5 inches (Note: only inches shown on scale). Condition: The tray is in good overall condition with minor surface wear and firing specks to the underside. The bowl has several firing cracks where the lattice-work meets the foot ring and shows light wear to the gilding on the rim.
