Produced in the mid-20th century, this vintage jacket is constructed of rich, plush dark brown sheared mouton lamb fur. The garment features a rounded shawl collar, deep cuffed sleeves, and a braided loop hook-and-eye front closure. The interior is fully lined in a bronze-tone satin woven with an all-over white stylized bird pattern and includes original inner satin tie sashes. No maker marks or labels are present. This piece presents in fair to good vintage condition with clear exterior fur preservation and interior wear. The sheared mouton fur remains remarkably soft, dense, and glossy throughout, showing no significant thinning or fur loss. However, the satin lining requires repair, displaying heavy fraying, loose threads, and seam separation along the bottom hemline, inner cuffs, and armpits. Measures 28" length from shoulder to hem of fur, 18" shoulder to shoulder, and 23" sleeve length. This is best for a modern Small to Medium up to 38" bust. Featuring a classic mid-century profile paired with a charming novelty printed lining, this piece offers strong display appeal or an ideal restoration project for vintage outerwear collectors.
