SuitDating from the late 1970s to the early 80s, this men's two-piece suit was manufactured in the United States by Pendleton Woolen Mills under their "Country Traditionals" line. Constructed of 100% pure virgin wool woven in a classic navy blue and green Black Watch tartan plaid, the set comprises a sports jacket and matching trousers. The jacket features wide notch lapels, a two-button front closure with silver-tone crest-embossed metal buttons, a flap chest pocket, two flap hip pockets, a singleback vent, and a black satin interior lining. The trousers feature a straight-leg cut, belt loops, side seam pockets, and rear welt pockets. The interior jacket pocket retains a woven blue maker label reading "Warranted to be a Pendleton, Pure VirginWool, Made in U.S.A.", while the trouser waistband retains a coordinating "Country Traditional's by Pendleton" label. ;Jacket measures 18" at shoulders and 44" across chest while at 30" long. The pants fit 36" at the waist and have an inseam at 30";fit is consistent with a men's medium. Condition is consistent with age and heavy wear, showing several condition issues as detailed in the photos. The trousers display noticeable fabric tears, holes, and moth nibbles along the crotch/fly area andlower legs, along with visible darning repairs around the rear pocket. The jacket shows light surface wear and minor fading near the left shoulder. Buttons, pocket tailoring, zippers, and interior linings remain functional.
