Vintage 80s Glam Black Sequin Butterfly Beaded

Constructed of a sheer black silk fabric base, this vintage 80s short-sleeved evening top features elaborate, full-surface sequin and glass bead embellishments. The design is centered around large silver-and-black sequined butterfly motifs on both the front and back, bordered by cascading radiant sequin strands, a V-neckline, and a pointed handkerchief hemline. Designed in a loose batwing or kimono-style silhouette, the garment appears unbranded with no visible maker or care tags present. It wascommon for these tops to be made in India, Indonesia or the orient due to the high level of sequin application and craftsmanship. Exhibits light wear consistent with age and gentle use. Minor loose threads along the beaded borders are visible uponclose inspection, though the vast majority of sequin and bead application remains intact and densely coverage.
