Vtg Italian Trench Coat w/Burberry's Wool Scarf

Produced in Italy by Principe Imports, this mid-to-late 1970s brown cotton twill trench coat includes a removable, 100% cashmere Burberrys plaid scarf in grey, white, black, and red. The coat features a waist belt with buckle closure, front flap cargo pockets, sleeve cuff adjustment straps with leather-wrapped buckles, large decorative leather-bound buttons, and a yellow, brown, and orange plaid lining. Interior tags include a stitched fabric "Principe IMPORTS - MADE IN ITALY" label, a "Confezionato in Italia" tag. The scarf has a sewn tag reading "Burberrys OF LONDON - 100% CASHMERE - MADE IN ENGLAND". The trench is a man's size 40. Exhibiting moderate overall wear, the trench coat shows notable fabric wrinkling, light surface scuffing,edge wear along the cuffs and hem, and finish wear with flaking to the leather coating on the belt and cuff buckles. The Burberrys cashmere scarf remains intact, showing minor fraying at the edges and a loose thread near the label. There are numerous moth chews and holes throughout. Dimensions measure 38 inches from collar seam to bottom hem, 19 inches across the shoulders, and 24 inches in sleeve length; the scarf measures approximately 54 inches long (excluding fringe) by 12 inches wide.
