This men's late 1970s to early 80s Harrington-style bomber jacket was manufactured by Woolrich. Constructed of a heavy tan cotton wide-wale corduroy outer shell, the jacket features a classic red, black, and yellow tartan wool-blend lining, a stand-up collar with two-button neck closure, a full front metal zipper, raglan sleeves, ribbed knit cuffs and hem, two buttoned flap front pockets, and a scalloped umbrella back yoke. An interior woven tag reads "Woolrich EST. 1830 / SIZE 42". Condition appears fair to good, displaying moderate wear typical of age and use including light surface soiling/staining to the corduroy, minor fabric rubs, and a small pinhole repair near the back collar. This jacket is well worn with lots of wear left to enjoy. Shoulder-to-shoulder measures 19" with the raglan sleeve, pit-to-pit measures 22-23", overall length from collar to hem is 25.5", and sleeve length is 24.5". A roomy and less tailored fit. Offering timeless preppy Ivy League style combined with rugged Woolrich construction, this example makes a versatile addition for vintage outerwear collectors and everyday wearers.
