Rohm 38S .38 SPL

Updated August 24, 2026

Lot 7517 highlights a classic Rohm Model 38S revolver chambered in the tried-and-true .38 Special caliber. Featuring a traditional double-action/single-action mechanism, this handgun sports a 4-inch barrel with a bright and shiny bore. The solid frame and swing-out cylinder show plenty of cosmetic surface wear consistent with honest age and character, placing it in fair overall condition. Contoured checkered grips provide a solid holding surface, while the dark blued frame and barrel show the vintage styling typical of West German manufacturing from the mid-20th century. Rohm revolvers were widely imported into the United States as accessible, practical sidearms, offering simple mechanical operation and effective defensive firepower. The action cycles reliably and operates accordingly. Please see photos. Rohm 38S .38 SPL DA/SA 4 Shiny FF381039 Fair
