Charter Arms Undercover .38 SPL

Updated August 24, 2026

Lot 7513 is an iconic Charter Arms Undercover revolver chambered in .38 Special. A classic pillar of American personal protection history, this double-action/single-action wheelgun features a compact 2-inch barrel with a bright, shiny bore. It comes adorned with warm, handsome wood grips that give it a timeless vintage appeal, fitted against a solid steel frame and 5-shot swing-out cylinder. In good overall condition, this lightweight snub-nosed revolver was originally engineered in the 1960s to offer civilian buyers and law enforcement detectives maximum stopping power in a highly concealable package. Charter Arms revolutionized the snubby market by reducing frame weight without sacrificing structural strength. The mechanism functions cleanly and operates accordingly. Please see photos.
