Savage Arms Axis .30-06 Sprg

Updated August 24, 2026

This Savage Arms Axis bolt-action rifle is chambered in .30-06 Springfield and is being offered as an incomplete sporting rifle. Serial number K435072, this example features an approximately 22" barrel with a shiny bore and remains in good cosmetic condition overall. The rifle utilizes a synthetic stock with a traditional sporting grip profile paired with a steel receiver and barrel. Some visible rust is present and should be reviewed in the photographs. Most importantly, the bolt is missing, leaving the rifle incomplete and unable to operate in its current condition. It will require the proper replacement bolt and professional fitting or inspection before use. Savage developed the Axis as a practical, value-oriented hunting rifle built around straightforward bolt-action construction. Chambered in the classic .30-06 Springfield cartridge, this example retains plenty of sporting potential once properly completed. A worthwhile project for the mechanically knowledgeable buyer looking for a Savage hunting-rifle foundation. Please see photos. Savage Arms Axis .30-06 Sprg Bolt 22 Shiny K435072 Good
